New General Council

The Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, St Jacut les Pins,
held their General Chapter from 14th July to 2nd August 2019
at the Ile Blanche Retreat Centre, Locquirec. France.
They elected for six years:

Sr Anne Chapell (France)                             Superior General        (2nd mandate)

Sr Marie-Madeleine Tual (France)             Assistant General       (2nd mandate)

Sr Yvonne Pilarski (Great Britain)              General Councillor    (1st mandate)

Sr Roselys Lalanirina (Madagascar)          General Councillor    (1st mandate)

During their first meeting at the Trappistine Abbey of La Coudre, Laval, the new General Team laid the groundwork for their new mandate, based on the Orientation:

Called to be Bearers of Hope in the Heart of the World

They ask for the support of your prayers and assure you of their devoted and prayerful service in the local and universal Church.

NB : There are 416 Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus present in 8 countries.
