On the 15 December Anne and I finally boarded the plane for
Madagascar. We really thought the trip would never happen – it had been postponed several times, so it was almost like a dream when we landed on Madagascan soil. There were health and administrative restrictions to challenge us, as well as a period of isolation in a hotel in Tanà. However, when the results of our test showed we were negative, we were allowed to leave and Dorothée was waiting for us in front of the hotel to drive us to the community of Tanà. On 19 December we went to Antsirabe where we were given a warm welcome. We thank God that we were able to travel while the pandemic is still going on.
