A chapel for Aquatria

"Aquatria" is a residence for independent and semi-independent seniors; this 80 room home is peaceful and out in nature. Everything is organized to promote the life and wellbeing of the elderly residents: help with personal or medical care, a variety of balanced meals, meeting rooms, activities and outings for all tastes, etc. Since the end of January 2019, 32 Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus live in this residence situated in Casselman in rural Eastern Ontario. December 19, 2019: Come to the party, the table is ready! Our sister Marie Madeleine Bouchet brought the festivities for our centenarians to a close for 2019. The celebration was somewhat official because the mayors of the native villages of our two sisters, Angèle Blain and Marie Madeleine, were invited to the celebration and of course the Mayor of St. Jacut was there, as always, being a participating witness to the major events that mark the Congregation. World Day of Peace

“Peace as a journey of hope: Dialogue, reconciliation and ecological conversion”. In his message for the world day of Peace, 2020, Pope Francis invites us to "break the spiral of vengeance" and suggests ways of achieving peace.
